It was pure fun! Music, friends, family, old comrades and a crowded venue in the old hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tommy Johnsmiller and Mark Tomorsky returned to the stage with with old friend Chip Trombley on drums and newcomer James Bourland on guitar. for their annual live performance on Friday, August 9th, as Foundry Town Survivors. This year, the group performed at The LIVE Nightclub for the nationally-known “Geezer Happy Hour”
They were joined onstage by veteran vocalist Al Jacquez, bassist Mark Gougeon and famed sax player Dana Robbins. Downplaying their original material for the night, they served up a mix of favorite danceable tunes for the crowd, including tributes to local legends Bob Seger and Iggy Pop.
